Embarkation ladder must be in compliance with SOLAS

4.Responsibilities职责
The responsible officer shall inspect the embarkation ladder in compliance with SOLAS and make sure they are available at all times.
负责检查气胀式救生衣的人员应按要求对登艇梯进行检查，保证登艇梯满足SOLAS 要求，并随时可用。

| Remove covers and inspect cordage for signs of wear 取下保护帆布并检查绳索是否有磨损迹象 |

| Inspect side ropes of net parcelling for signs of unraveling. 检查四周的紧固绳是否有解开的迹象。 |

| Inspect the shackled ends for effects of weathering and paint. 检查带钢制眼环的绳索末端是否有风化的迹象，上面是否有油漆。 |

| Check shackles and strongpoint for signs of rusting and derusting as necessary. 检查钢制眼环和船上固定紧固点是否有生锈的迹象，并在必要时进行除锈。 |
