.1 Instruction总则
This position was created as a transition period between Enginee Cadet and a Engineer Of the Watch (EOO). It is primarily a training position for a person holding a licence but with limited sea time & experience. The Candidate will be evaluated regularly during the tenure (3 monthly) and promotion will only be permitted based on the evaluations and the fulfilment of the company’s minimum requirements for sea time and experience.
这个职位是为实习生晋升为值班轮机员而设立的。这主要是一个对持有三管轮证书，但限于海上时间和经验的人提供的培训职位。候选人将在任期内定期接受评估（每3个月一次），只有在评估和满足公司对出海时间和经验的最低要求的基础上，才允许正式顶职。
Candidates should be given every opportunity to realistically train or be involved in the duties of the next rank. All work to be performed under supervision.

Training should be conducted by experienced senior members of the team.
轮机长安排相关有经验的轮机员负责整体培训工作，并由轮机长监督。
.2 Authority and Interrelation权责关系
- Reports to the second engineer on routine operational and administrative matters unless otherwise instructed by the chief engineer.
- 除非轮机长另有指示，直接向大管轮汇报日常工作。
- Maintenance and Operations to be performed under supervision.
- 在相关负责人监督下开始相关工作。
- Sole responsibilities to be permitted at the discretion of the Chief Engineer as per the candidate’s progress.
- 轮机长根据实习三管轮的能力决定是否给与更多职责和培训。
.3 Responsibility职责
- Understand and abide by all relevant documentation, regulations, guidelines and procedures.
- 理解并遵守所有相关文件、法规、指南和程序。
- Report any undesired events, unsafe practices or near accidents observed to the superior officer/s and attempt to rectify them if safely possible.
- 向上级报告发现的任何意外事件、不安全行为或险情，及时采取纠正措施。
- Actively participate in all drills, simulations and exercises conducted onboard and impart associated training as instructed by the Master or the chief engineer.
- 根据船长或轮机长的指示，积极参加船上进行的所有演习、模拟和演练，并进行相关培训。
- Actively participate in Engine room operation, routines and watch keeping duties under the supervision of 2nd engineer dayman and watch Keeping, undertake sole responsibility of ER UMS routines at the discretion of the Chief Engineer.
- 在白班大管轮和值班大管轮的监督下，积极参与机舱值班、日常工作，三个月实习完成以后轮机长评估决定是否可以独立开展工作。
- Participate in maintenance of the vessel where required with particular attention to the ships safety equipment. .
- 在需要时参与船舶维护时，特别注意船舶安全设备。
- Assist in any other duties as directed by the 2nd engineer
- 协助大管轮完成相关工作。
.4 PROFILE基本要求
- Have valid certificates suitable for the type of vessel.
- 具备与该类型船舶相适应的有效的证书
- College degree or above.
- 大专及以上学历
- At least 18 months and above experience as Engine Cadet of cruise ships or 12 months and above experience as Fourth Engineer of cargo ship.
- 具有至少18个月及以上邮轮机舱实习生资历或12个月以上货船三管轮资历
- Familiar with international conventions, flag state regulations, port state regulations and other relevant regulations and rules.
- 熟悉有关国际公约、船旗国法规、港口国规定及其它有关规定、规则等
- Flexible, stress resistant, committed team player; strong administration skills are preferred.
- 灵活、抗压力、有团队合作精神；有较强的管理技能者优先
- Must have excellent Mandarin & English communication and written The ability to speak additional languages is an advantage.
