This SOP provides the procedure of inspection of weekly and monthly inspection of life boat，life boat equipment monthly inspection and bowsing system in compliance with SOLAS.

4.Responsibilities职责
The responsible officer shall inspect lifeboat and bowing system n compliance with SOLAS and make sure they are available at all times.

| Check the rudder/ steering mechanism, check all cordage, check the retroreflective tapes for proper adherence, check for any damage to the hull exterior or rusting of metal fitting. Check all markings for signs of fading. Take corrective action to remedy any deficiencies found in the above.
